1 Day Workshop

This is a fun interactive induction programme for incoming first year student. The transition from sixth class in primary school to 1st year in secondary school is a big change in a child’s life. The biggest challenge facing them is making friends and personal organisation.

Our Stepping Up to Secondary is designed to make the transition to secondary school as easy as possible by providing activities and exercises on making new friends. Friendships help children develop important life skills like getting along with other people and sorting out conflicts and problems. Children with these are less likely to have social and emotional difficulties later in life. During this workshop students will be up on their working through ice-breakers, team building, critical thinking and networking activities. These activities are fun and high impact in a visual way.
